Brian is a graduate of Grove City College, and earned a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Detroit Mercy. He graduated from the Securities Industry Institute at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder (CFA®) and holds FINRA series 7, 66, 86, and 87.
Prior to joining Baird, Brian was the Chief Investment Officer at Hefren-Tillotson.
His commentary on investments has been featured in a variety of local and national news media, including Kiplinger's, U.S. News and World Report, and Morningstar.com. Additionally, he has guest lectured on investments at several universities and has been a featured speaker at numerous CFA Society events.
In 2013, Brian was selected as a Fast Tracker by The Pittsburgh Business Times. Fast Tracker’s honors 40 leaders in Pittsburgh’s business community who are under 40 years old.
Outside of the securities industry, Brian has served on the Emerging Leaders Tocqueville Committee for the United Way of Southwestern PA, the finance council of Sacred Heart Parish in Shadyside, the board of Aquinas Academy in Gibsonia, and the board of the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera.
He and his wife, Suzanne, have five children.
